Welcome back! »

A warm welcome to all pupils and parents on an exciting first day back at Hampden Gurney. It has been wonderful to see so many smartly dressed children with smiling faces ready for an exciting new term. Year 6 at the London Youth Games »

Year 6 were lucky enough to attend the 37th Annual Balfour Beatty London Youth Games - Europe's largest annual youth sports event. Children from schools in many boroughs across Greater London all convened at the Crystal Palace National Sports Centre to compete in a variety of sports such as gymnastics and track and field.

Year 2 go to Multiskills Festival »

On Wednesday 25th June Year 2 went on the annual trip to Regent's Park to participate in a Multiskills Sports Festival. There were eight other schools attending and it was great that the children were able to enjoy so many varied sporting activities in the beautiful sunshine.

International Art Day »

International Art Day was a fantastic celebration of art from around the world. Each class focused on a different country or region and both teachers and parents provided a cultural extravaganza for the children. Art activities ranged from traditional Australian dot paintings in Nursery to vibrant Indonesian tie-dyeing in Year 5.
